great access to charming village and scenic park views

I loved my stay here. the hotel is just a short stroll from the charming village of Volendam and the beautiful Waterlandsmuseum is an easy walk away, offering scenic views that make exploring the area so enjoyable. The friendly staff and spacious rooms made me feel right at home as a single traveler.

The empty minibar upon arrival felt off-putting!!! Inconsistent upkeep of rooms and common areas could use improvement!!! Better soundproofing would really enhance any stay!!!

We had a fantastic time at Van Der Valk Hotel Volendam! Our Luxury Triple Room was spacious and very comfortable. The indoor pool was a highlight for the kids, and the wellness area made us feel relaxed. The bus stop right outside made it super easy to explore Amsterdam in just 20 minutes.

While dinner was quick and tasty, the breakfast lacked a warm, hearty meal, which was a disappointment. Additionally, the air-conditioning malfunctioning for two days altered the comfort of the stay.

We had a fun 2-night stay! The breakfast spread was incredible, and the coffee was on point. Our room was spotless and cozy. Just a short walk to stunning views. The only bummer was the economy rooms being way at the back with no easy elevator access. Still, great amenities overall!
